찰나에도 희로애락이 공존하는 것이 삶이다.

고통의 시간이 길어지면 온갖 힘을 다하여

고통의 늪에서 빠져나오려고 애쓸 때, 

어떤 대상에게 간절히 매달려 도움을 청한다.

그 고통 한가운데 놓여 있을 때도 순간순간 웃기도 하고 울기도 한다. 이렇게 기쁠 수도, 즐거울 수도 있는 것은 섭리를 깨닫거나 기도의 믿음일 것이다.

크로스의 몸체에 붉은 실로 크로스를 만들며 감았다. 수많은 크로스가 겹쳐진 실로 감긴 이 크로스는 파도처럼 밀려오는 고통 속에서도 믿음의 상징 기호인 크로스가 버팀목일 수 있다는 느낌으로 

표현하였다. 

Life is the coexistence of joy and sorrow even in a fleeting moment. When the time of suffering lengthens, one exerts every strength to escape the swamp of pain, desperately clinging to someone or something, seeking help. Even in the midst of that suffering, there are moments of laughter and tears. The ability to find joy and pleasure in such circumstances may be the realization of providence or the faith in prayer. 

The cross was woven with a red thread to form the body of the cross. This cross, entwined with numerous crosses, conveys the feeling that even in the surging waves of pain, the cross, a symbol of faith, can be a support. It symbolizes strength in the face of overwhelming suffering.
