십자가를 보면 우리의 죄를 다 짊어지고 가시는 예수님의 모습을 상상하곤 합니다. 제목은 마태복음 27장 28절로 예수의 옷을 벗기고 새로 자주색 옷을 입혔다 라는 색의 인상이 깊어 보라색 톤으로 나의 십자기 색을 정하게 되었습니다. 저는 ARTCROSS에 참여하여 십자가의 색을 입히게 되어 오히려 영광이라 생각합니다. ARTCROSS 전시를 통해 각각 색다른 십자가의 표현이 세상에 알려져 예수님의 희생과 사랑을 느꼈으면 좋겠습니다.

I often think of Jesus carrying all our sins when I see the cross. Matthew 27:28, the title of my ARTCROSS says that Jesus was stripped of his clothes and newly clothed in purple. I had a profound impression of this color, so I decided to paint my cross in purple shades. It is rather an honor to participate in ARTCROSS and give my cross a color. Through ARCROSS, I hope that each different and original interpretation of the cross spreads to the world and lets us feel the sacrifice and love of Jesus.
