The cross portrays the death of Christ that brings us life through faith; it involved public shame that turned to glory; it caused deep pain that brings us peace, & is a sign of identity for Christians that creates hope.   The Spirit helps us understand its paradoxical meaning; art can assist that process.  The "fluid" forms on the cross indicate the presence and power of the Spirit.
